- John is President & CEO of YouthNoise, a San Francisco-based non-profit that uses modern social media to support and mobilize the civic engagement of youth in their communities. John has over twenty years of senior management experience, in both business and nonprofit organizations. Before YouthNoise, he served as Executive Director of the UC San Diego Alumni Association, and before that, he helped lead the California Alumni Association at UC Berkeley. He has served on several nonprofit boards and has been an active volunteer for a number of political campaigns. John is an Oakland, CA native, holds degrees from UC Berkeley and the University of San Francisco, and is the proud father of a five-year-old boy named Max.
